Good afternoon. I have recently had a new alternator fitted as the last one was smoking. I think the old [s]alternator has done a bit of damage to other systems because I've had the new one fitted and now there's no lights or function from the whole of the climate control system and all the systems on it. I am going to swap some relays out this afternoon to see if I can narrow it down. Any advice would be great thanks.

Your alternator may have taken the battery with it when it died. It might be worth having the battery tested and replaced if necessary. With any luck, your issues might be resolved with a new battery.

Thanks for the reply. The car is running with no problems appart from those described. The battery seems ok but like i say the car us driving ok so something has popped somewhere
