4.2 SUPERCHARGED RRS - NO ONE WILL INSURE ME!!! WAT THE FU@£

OK GUYS, I AM TURNING 25 IN 4 MONTHS TIME, WANTED TO BUY THEN BUT HAD BEEN HUNTING FOR 2 MONTHS ALREADY, I SAW ONE THAT I KNOW FOR A FACT I WOULD NEVER SEE AGAIN SO I BOUGHT IT… BUT I CANNOT FIND ANYONE TO INSURE ME! THEYRE ALL CHARGING OVER 5 GRAND! WHAT IS THIS ABOUT!???

DOES ANYONE ELSE KNOW OF PEOPLE WHO CAN INSURE ME FOR CHEAPER?? BECAUSE THIS TAKES THE !!!!!

Long shot but have you tried these two...They provided cover on high performance cars and are on the mlr forum.

Try local insurance brokers,

Been 25 means very little nowadays, it's all down to car, location and point and of course how much no claims discount you have

I remember Viewwise been in the same situation at 18, Maybe a PM to him to see if he could tell you who he went too

Hey chris at the moment the guy i got the car off, hes renwed the tax for me as i know him quite well so the car is not going to be off road as i WILL get this sorted cant give up...

If the car isn't insured it needs to be SORN the law has changed recently.

might be worth looking at a traders policy, just say u valet cars under 5k and list the RRS as your own vehicle.

Youre lucky at 5k my first ffrr was at 24 and it cost 6750 to insure me....

Why dont you ask Johnhampton who he uses.... Hes a younger and he has had a pretty impressive stable upto press!

I was 24 when I got my last RRS, did it through my company insurance fleet which isn't too bad, on my new autobiography (I am now 28 ) they did hike up the excess, maybe you should try a higher excess, mine is £1500.

Also get a tracker installed and get GAP insurance.
