The radio and nav screen in my my08 sport freeze up occasionally, the screen sits on the Land Rover logo and the radio turns on and off, but no sound comes out. Is there a way to reset these systems other than disconnecting the battery?

Ive tried resetting the fault codes and turning the ignition on and off, waiting, etc.

Points to a problem with fibre optic loop as the sat Nov screen sticks on LR logo if there is a break in the circuit TDV8 now with extra grin factor thanks to Alive Tunning: Gone but not forgotten

Im fairly sure its a battery issue, because lifting the battery terminal for a second or two will reset the radio and it starts working. The fault code while its frozen is about comms on the fibre loop, but i think thats a symptom not the cause
