haha.. thanks guys for all the comments..
No MDP the TT is more of less sold, im financing a bunch of TT's for a group of clients that work for the Autotrader magazine, and they are all getting TT's so they seem to think these are good news too.

Just waiting on some calculations on the guys pex before i can definitely state its sold.. but right now its still up for grabs.

My wheels are the 19" upgrades, star spokes. And on the 320d Sport these are the 18" Sport upgrades, they now come with 17" slightly smaller wheels on the 318/320 sport model saloons.

Yes, my cousin does look like a bit of a ruffian, they own a cab company in jay's neck of the woods.. D&R mate, know em? but surely i don't look like a car thief...

There were actually a bunch of pikeys in the showroom at the time we were picking up, and all the sales staff were slightly concerned.. they were like the guys out of snatch! quite worrying when they are sitting in an M5 and a custom Alpina and jumping up and down on the seats.. we made sure we weren't followed home!

The cars look great.... front grill, fat alloys and break discs on the 335d look superb! When you coming round to play???!!!

well, im having to go to walsall thurs night now at 7.30pm to be an estate agent to the walsall masses again, so can pop over then? or you going to that din you mentioned?

You'll enjoy driving the 335d.. its a big torque wave generator.. throws loads of power down, and is quite fun to drive.. and looks pretty slick too in my opinion..

Wow, very nice!
I like the new 3-er coupe!
My friend recently got 335i twin-turbo! It's so damn fast for normal civil car with TV, DVD and other toys... We're tried to race it against A8 4.2FSI... Audi was way behind on 402m... And the handling is perfect!

Congratulations on a BRILLIANT choice.

I must say we looked at a new 335cd for my mum and found it really to pricey for what it is. They're beautiful really are...BMW's are my favourite car make (sorry rangey Sad I've grown up in BM's). However now they're getting really quite pricey.
Rest assured your BM WILL go on forever. Our E34 525ix SE Touring Auto still absoloutely blows your mind off for its age and size Very Happy
The build quality in 99% of BMW's is impecable and the engines are perfect.
Brilliant choice for both you and your cousin, I'd take the cd any day though Wink

Thanks guys.. yeah the 335d coupe is quite expensive for what it is, but the whole sector has moved up a few notches recently.. i.e. RS4 for £50k, an A4 for over £50k.. people would have laughed even as close as 2002/03 ago if you said M3 for over £50k and the RS4 over £50k!

The residuals do look quite poor to be honest on the 335d, but i don't keep my cars very long, and book usually under estimate on these cars to be honest from experience with other diesel bmw's in the past.

This is a stop gap for between the rs4 and hopefully the new M3 for me, and its certainly not lacking in any punch.. just delivers it in a different way compared to the RS4..

TB u aint seen where our office is mate! Walsall's heaven compared..
And its the rough end of walsall too!! the RS4/A8 were fine there, sure the 335 will be too.. trick is to just go as fast as u can and don't stop at red signals!

Very nice Kam... I was wondering when we'd get to hear about the new toy. The 3.0 twin turbo diesel is a monster engine - even more so in your lighter car than mine. At the moment with all this fog and frost about, the traction control is certainly very busy. Congrats mate! Very Happy

Thanks Shmoogle.. hey wanted to ask you buddy, does the traction get much better when the weather gets milder..? i have only driven it in crap weather so far to be fair, and im not going to have much rear tyre left by the end of the month at this rate!

I remember on both my extended test drives, one driving like a nutter the other driving rather more mildly.. it was nothing like this, but so far the traction light has been very very busy!
