Hi, since getting the car MY16 AB with incontrol apps, I've been able to play music from a compatible usb stick, and very seldomly a video file (most files seems to be incompatible).

Does anyone know

a) how to create a music playlist that the RRS will pickup
b) Exactly what file format the video file should be in to work - very specifically on this what encoding Range Rover Sport SVR - Santorini Black

b) DivX videos work for me. Not all encodings/formats of DivX though. I worked out using trial and error but can't remember off the top of my head exactly what resolutions were and weren't supported. Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top

Interesting I haven't worried about video via USB but seeing as we can get very large USB sticks wondering what the limit of storage is ? Also has any tried running a portable hard drive ? M16 SVD8 ,4.4 HSE with a few extras, Sold R50 , Wife SQ5 , BMW R1200GSW.

I use a 32 GB USB flash drive (doesn't feel right calling it a 'stick' as it is the low profile one and only about 1cm x 1.5 cm!). Large collection of MP3 files and quite a few DivX files in HD, more than enough resolution for such a small screen. Still got a few GB free on it. The fact that I have NEVER watched (apart from testing) any movie on that screen is a different story. Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top

It does feel like surround but not sure if it's 5.1. I had no idea what 5.1 was until I googled it My knowledge is fairly limited in the AV department which means I wouldn't notice/care much. Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top
