Just what I needed tonight, caught a huge pothole on the way back from a meeting, ripped front near side tyre. First time changing a wheel on an RRS:- in the dark muddy roadside in a suit. Only torch I had with me was iPhone so of course the charge on that didn't last long. Wonderful NOT.

Ideally take picture with some scales / rulers on , Leeds city council has a site where you can see previously reported pot holes not sure if your local council will have, they have a maintenance system in place usually and if they can say the road has been inspected at regular intervals and that nobody has made any reports of a defect recently they will avoid paying out Nanocom Evo |

I had same problem few years ago with my old M3. Wrecked suspension, so got fixed, and claimed for costs.

Did a similar thing about 3 years ago was heading home after nice meal had to turn off A1 onto little country lane even had grass growing down the middle hit a pot hole was only doing about 20mph new general grabber done less than 100 mile big slit in the side wall also took out the alloy. It was the n/s/r didn't have a torch so had to use the puddle light in the rear pas door. Changed the wheel in a farm yard entrance covered in cow s**t. Cost the wrong side of £600. Expensive night out !

Also, for tyres, check out ASDA. Yes, that's right. Works like Black Circle but for me it was even cheaper Robin

Was it an adopted road, though? From the description, it may not have been. |

Asda tyres is run by Bond International one of my suppliers & I told them to take me off their fitting list as they get all the profit out & want us to fit for next to nothing.

Their is. Garage near me that fits for Asda & I know a few that's used them & ended up with damaged alloys as they haven't got good equipment & keep marking alloys.
