Sportman, Bobby lives in Malayasia where if it doesn't have a Proton badge on the front then you pay 100% or more in import dues................ to protect their domestic car builder who doesn't build anything like a RRS or D3 or FFRR............ or any other sort of high end European/ American car. We ship containerlaods of used Mercedes, Jaguars, Rovers, BMW's,Land Rovers and other high spec luxury cars out to malayasia ofetn in a spec or colour that would get you very little in part exchange at a main dealer here. The dealer gives you peanuts but then sells the car on at a huge profit to an exporter who can still make even more profit by shipping the vehicles out there because there is less duty on a used import, and there is huge demand for prestigous cars. They buy in the UK because they drive on the left side of the road like us and need right hand drive cars. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

You've also got sales tax (VAT 17.5%) included in the UK price whereas US sales tax and gas guzzler tax will be added by the dealer.
