transmission removal

Hello all,

The torque converter on my 2.7 tdv6 is on its way out.

The garage are replacing it, but they said that it was REALLY difficult to get the transmission off.

They did a tdv8 a few months agi, and they said that was MUCH easier (completely different is what they said).

Is this true?

2.7 is far easier than a 3.6, IMO...
