There is a query over on the Disco5 forum regarding the InControl Touch that someone here with a 2017MY RRS with it might be able to answer.............. As far as I know it has a hard drive.... it has that option on the menu.. in terms of "Media" as a choice of 'source"

But I havent figured that one out yet as my music is all on my phone or spotify etc
