Radio satnav fault

Hi recently purchased a range rover sport. Nice car. But having a few problems with it. If anyone can help it would be much appreciated.
Every morning when I start the car the radio and satnav keep going off for about 20 seconds. Although today it was fine. Don't know if it was because it was a nice warm day. Any thoughts??

Probably be good to get a test meter on it 1st thing in the morning before starting it and see what condition the battery is in. Thumbs Up Currently MY16 Disco 4 Mr. Green

Will get it looked at next week. When I first got the car I had I checked. No faults were found. Although the garage said the diagnostic machine said it's needs the radio unit updating or something along those lines.

Requires module update. It will work fine all day. Just plays up in the morning.

UPDATE.
Purchased a voltage reader you can put into the cigarette lighter. This morning it read over 16 volts for a few mins then settles around 14 volts. Got it booked in next week for new alternator.

Don't just rush in purchasing a new Alternator, the voltages are not too bad, were they taken under load, engine running? If you have certain items running can effect rate, battery can read OK, but still be lower than at new, and on its way out after four years.
First thing I would do is get the codes checked for any problems using a proper tool for testing such as the GAP IID BT tool,
or at a JLR dealership. John

If I switch both heated screens on, the satnav and radio work fine.
Radio and satnav will work fine with engine off. When I start it the voltage shoots up to 16 + volts. Once it's run for a few mins it's fine all day. Been told anything over 14 volts will cook the battery.

Obviously the load settles the voltage down. Is there a voltage regulator that is separate to the alternator which could be changed to avoid the cost of a complete alternator?

It may well be, I was just asking the question in case it was an option.
