United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Sumatra Black

WRT height settings, it will lessen the strain on the LR standard jack (at least the screw bit) if you start from off road height, so this is probably worth doing.

(I have a bottle jack to assist if I'm away from home. Otherwise I use the 3-tonne trolley jack. )

If your car is still in warranty you also have the option to call a man out to change a wheel for you............... either call LR Assist or press the assistance button in the headlining above the RVM. Of course this all depends on whether you have a mobile phone signal or not! Usually the LRA guys have a trolley jack for the job and overalls so you don't get dirty and neither do they! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I was told be a garage to LOWER AND LOCK the suspension before jacking up. Others say it doesn't matter what position its in.
