Ok, newbie alert!!!! I have looked at some threads and asked some q`s, I hear and read about "facelift model", how do I tell if mine is a facelift model???

IIRC Facelifted cars started build in 2010 model year. Yours is pre-facelift. Most noticeable differences are the headlights and tail lights and inside there is the rotary gear selector, 8 speed auto, 3.0ltr v6 diesel and 5.0ltr V8 Petrol, different dash and some trim changes 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

RRS MY12 SDV6 HSE. Sumatra Black/Ebony & Walnut + Dynamic Pack, + Cold Climate Pack + Memory Pack, Digital TV/DVD, Premium Leather, Cornering Lights, Cooler/Fridge Box, & most Options.

Rotary gear selector, 8 speed gearbox, 3.0 SDV6 engine and one piece electric tailgate all started in 2012 model year (61 plate onwards). 2010 MY facelift (59 plate onwards) still had a gear stick, 6 speed gearbox, 3.0 TDV6 engine (slightly lower BHP than SDV6) and manual tailgate.

As above, your July 2009 is a pre-facelift model like my first RRS was that was registered on 31st July 2009. Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top
