As I understand it, you can blank off the EGRs on later models (Euro 4 I think) but the EML will light up which is an MOT fail. You would need to get one of the tuners to programme your ECU to switch off the EML.

Alonso, yes it's possible to blank them and cheaper in the long run. Needs a software update to stop the EML coming on.
