Does anyone know if a Homelink garage opener can be retrofitted ?

I don't think so, but there was a guy on here, who hid the transmitter in the overhead console and wired it up with a little button sticking out, just needs a soldering iron and a little switch MY 13 3.0 SDV6 HSE Black Edition
