Lockable fuel filler cap?

This morning I looked out of my window to see my RRS with its fuel flap open. I filled it three days before and very much doubt I left it open for all that time, so I'm concerned somebody was attempting something and perhaps got scared off or what have you. The flap does lock with the central locking of course, which makes it even stranger that it was open. No signs of damage anywhere and I've done 100 miles or so today without issue.

I looked around the filler for any residue in case somebody had poured anything nasty in, but are there any ways to buy a filler cap with a key socket, that preferably uses the car key? I already have about 10 keys on my keyring so don't want to add another ideally Smile

Of course this could all be very innocent but I've become pretty protective of my car (love it!!) and want to make sure all stays well Smile

As you say the central locking also closes the fuel flap, cannot see why it would be open if no visible damage marks, perhaps it wasn't closed on catch and came open on the journey, has been windy in parts around the country.
You can purchase lockable fuel caps, but none made for RRS by LR as far as I can see.
As long as it fits and vented, if required, would think no problem, normal places plus Halfrauds. John

Okay thanks. Yeah I just couldn't work it out. The car stands out quite a bit where I live so I instantly thought it was dodgy. I've packed it close to a wall tonight to try and stop any access.

Just check to make sure it is locking properly, give it a good few tests and when parking just check to, just in case a connection is damaged etc. John

I had a proper fiddle with the flap (that's what she said) when I locked it tonight and there was no way it would open. I'll see what tonight brings.
