[b] Good afternoon all,

I have a problem with my 2009 rrs 2.7 tdv6. I have rebuilt the whole engine due to crank failure last year. list below

new.......
crankshaft
con rods
pistons
piston rings
head gasket
all the belts
the list is endless.......

Now the problem I have now is that I put it back on the road yesterday and everything seemed fine... until it started smelling of antifreeze and using water at around 100 miles into running in it.

Its now smoking extremely bad and has a misfire (not sure which bank yet as I have not checked)

Now I am sure it is a head gasket due to its symptoms, but there all brand new and the heads were checked by engineering shop prior to re fitting.

I have been reading up about the EGR Coolers.......... could this be the problem?
