Been back in the UK a day from Santander so thought I should post the rest of our pics. I have to say the Land Rover 10th Party was a great event and I would thoroughly recommend it to forum members. There is something for everyone whether it's eyeing up Land Rover porn from classic to modern, or out playing on the vast landscape getting dirty on the 60 KMs of difficulty graded trails.

Myself and RRSTDV8 had a superb time so apologies for the lack of action shots but we were far to busy having too much fun

We even ended up towing a BMW X5 onto and off the Santander ferry with a broken gearbox as the guy asked for a favour and had recovery waiting for him back in the UK. Apparently Brittany ferries don't have an assistance service

One short bit of "action" from the event. A sloppy muddy corner that led on to a short, slick rise. A D4 was struggling to get up when we arrived. Took a couple of tries but got there eventually. I whizzed up easily followed by Chris who did the same. The Disco driver had obviously never heard of momentum...he had the same tyres as me so no excuses there.

Anyway, here's Chris coming through the slop at the bottom and breezing up the rise. You can see Chris sliding in the sloppy ruts at the bottom but other than that it was plain sailing.

In the last photo, is the RRS on the trailer being recovered as it was broken or was it on the trailer being towed by what could be a motor home as the tow vehicle? 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Hi Tim, the FFRR was on loan from Land Rover to a company called Bickers that do a lot of film industry and stunt work. The guy we were talking to said there were also 2 others that were identical still in Spain and that one on the trailer was a development car and was going back to Land Rover. It had only done 250 miles, was an Autobiography SDV8 and was destined to be crushed by Land Rover

The tow vehicle was a Lorry where they set up the cameras.

Good to catch up with you guys at Les Comes, we had a great week after as well, found some new tracks for the next trip and went over a few of or favourites. Got back last night, just catching up with everything now....
