Navigation and sound system changes

Hiya,
I currently have a 63 plate L494, and am considering moving on to a May 16 registered car.

Struggling to work out what updates to the nav/entertainment system between those dates?

Also current car has the the lower Meridian speaker system in it, the newer one the standard setup. Has anyone heard the two back-to-back? How much difference is there?

I'm told the new car audio is listed on the build as 'low line 400w audio' ?
