We all know the joys of kerbing these beauties, but has anyone got paint fade around the rim, not due to any damage at all?

I've noticed this on 3 of my alloys, just appearing as a spread of white dots, with no damage to the wheel or tell tell signs of stone chips.

Photograph and record it asap under warranty with your dealer and make them inspect them, leaving it could make it difficult.
It should not be the metal corroding under the finish (white dust), not sure if this is anodised or paint. It does not sound like tyre sealant from fitting the tyres.
