United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Santorini Black
EML + Lean bank A&B

Hey everyone,

Had an issue the other week where they yellow EML came on, car drove fine no hesitation/powerless. Read the codes and it was showing as lean on banks A and B.
Started going through the usual air leak testing process, ended up buying a new PVC valve (FYI these are working fine even if you can blow through them both ways, they're vacuum closed...) etc.
Long story short, it turned out to be a small pipe to the rear of the supercharger outlet that runs to the fuel pressure sensor. With age the pipe had stretched and slipped off its sleeve (held in place by friction, it's not clamped (at least on mine it wasn't)). Luckily I had plenty of slack so trimmed the pipe and reattached, as a final note I had to clear the fuel trims before the EML would stay out as they had jumped to +27 on LTT.

Anyway, age of the vehicle I thought a few others out there may want to check and save themselves a bit of grief, the pipe can be checked easily/fixed by removing the engine cover. I'm unable to take a pic atm but found this one that should point you in the right direction.
