Good news Thumbs Up
Should be no wobble on acceleration though....in any car but especially a Sport.

Wobble has gone. More like vibration due to road surfaces etc. Speaking to deano and rob mine isn't too bad although I suspect a change in tyres may do it some good as am not a fan of these pirellis that I have...either that it I have a bloody sensitive steering rack!

All in all good - let's see what these brakes are like in a few weeks though as they did seem very hot last night despite being told no calipers binding etc. 2010 TDV8

For tyres - I can highly recommend Tyre Shack in Southampton:

Most importantly they lock the suspension. Lots of places won't do that.
Rob at Rovertune can offer this too Thumbs Up Visitor from fullfatrr.com

Thanks mate. Will bear in mind. I actually use the place next door to rob (elite wheels). They are pretty good and know their stuff. 2010 TDV8

As an update, the car seems properly sorted now it has genuine brakes fitted. No wobble, everything as it should be. It's cost a few quid since Easter, but it's well worth it as when running properly it's probably the best car I have owned. Happy days, and moral of tale is to fit genuine parts not aftermarket. 2010 TDV8
