Hi all, my 2006 Sport has various breaks in the window lines, has anyone done a repair using the kits available. The windows are booked in for tinting this week so wanted to get it fixed.

Thanks for the info, I'm tempted to leave it as I'm more concerned about how the repair will look through the tints than I am about the demister not fully working. |

Thinking more about it, if you were going to leave it anyway then you'd have nothing to lose by just putting on a real thin covering which you probably wouldn't see. It's only the overspill onto glass you'd see, but if bothered then it would likely scrape off with a sharp blade. I was doing it for function rather than looks so put plenty on.

Your insurance company should cover a replacement of the glass as it is a safety issue if you cant see through it, I had mine replaced on this basis. |

Can but try that insurance path, I suppose.
