I love this video (and a number of the others by the same people). This one shows some serious mud plugging in Oz with an RRS, D4, D2 and a little Suzuki.

Pop down to Solihull and try a Landrover Experience. I did a whole day for my 50th, the morning with a RRS the afternoon with a Discovery 4. I was amazed. Well worth the money for the day and a real eye opener. My favourite obstacle The 2 flights of Stairs!

I think tyre choice has a massive effect, I got my rrs fairly stuck on a mildly boggy green lane the other week, got it out, but had to use a bit more momentum than I would have liked and was worried I would have to find a farmer with a tractor. |
