Air suspension fault C1A36-01 (AF) 1 year old AMK compressor

Hey folks,i have an 2006 Sport that just got the fault C1A36-01 (AF),this pops as soon i start the engine. With IID tool it says Exhaust Valve fault.
After some googling it seems that there is a shortcut in the wiring behind something that is called nearside front arch liner.
My question is.is this the plastic cover above the front wheels? If it is then what side is nearside?
And did anyone else expiriance this fault?

thanks in advance

Is the suspension not working correctly? Or are you just seeing this fault code with the IID tool?

It is well known that if an AMK compressor is fitted but the correct AMK software version is not installed then the fault code you have found will occur. Usually there is no actual malfunction.

Luckily as you have the IID tool it has the functionality to check the software version installed and install the correct software version if a change is required.

I had exactly the same with my AMK compressor as although the garage that fitted it told me they had updated the software - they hadn't; so I was able to install it using the IID tool. 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE
