Mines four years old and worn daily. 560 through goldsmiths back to Breitling, it's the eight weeks without it that I don't like the idea of . |

And I bet that doesn't include parts that it might need added onto the price! I would think that is just a standard service of movement and polish 2003 BMW M5 - 5 Litres of V8 Optimax Slurping Goodness in Carbon Black

i was thinking that, its one of the reasons i didn't buy a Omega PlanetOcean with some inheritance i got, the service would cost more than the watch it would replace which has never been serviced, but i couldn't go down that route with the Omega if i wanted to keep it long term |

What is the recommended service interval on Breitlings just out of interest? I know Rolex increased theirs to 10 years recently. Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top

Unfortunately, my Rolex won't last 10 years without a service, slows to a grinding halt about every 5 years. There again, it is nearly fourty years old! I bought my Sea Dweller in Saudi Arabia (Dahran) in 1977 with my first annual bonus from ARAMCO!! It cost me just under 600 then. The last service which was done in Kuala Lumpur cost me just over 400!!! Have no idea how much it would be here in UK. Probably around 50% more!!!!

Business idea: Supply loan watches when people's watches go in for a service and charge an admin/insurance fee. Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top
