"Phone removed" error message

Hi all,

My cars radio has the message 'phone removed' and it won't play the radio, aux, cd etc.. and I can't clear the message. The main display also won't change from the Land Rover boot up screen. Does anyone know of the issue?
Many thanks.

By removing both battery connections and touching them together for 10 seconds or so keeping well clear of the battery terminals themselves ! Then reconnect and try. 2008 G4 RRSport TDV8 current

Thank you for your advice on this. Luckily when I started the car next it had fixed itself. Maybe the car got a bit too hot and went into spaz mode Laughing
