Why?

http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201512199568220

Why would you want to do that? The diesel is a great car in its own right. The SVR is completely different. I can't see by you want to do this - you'll look a complete idiot when you start it up in earshot of someone that knows what the SVR is and massively reduce the value of the car I'd have thought.

For the same reason that people do facelift conversions on older RRS. They want people to think they have more than they can actually afford. Rolling Eyes 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Why pay that much for an HSE with cooling massage seats and it doesn't appear to be even a Dynamic. Why also would you want to buy an already highly stealable car and make it look even more stealable, I bet the insurers will have a field day quoting on it! Anyone in the know wouldn't even need to hear the engine, just one look through the front side windows would be a giveaway without the "Recaro" chairs. All show and not enough go...... 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Non-PC but true. Same reason why people fit M3/M5 badges on regular 3/5 Series. Same reason people buy fake watches, hand bags and so on. They know what it really is but want to portray something superior to others because for some reason what others think is more important to them Rolling Eyes

Is it just me or does anyone else also think the body shop miserably failed trying to match Estoril? This blue looks quite bad to me whereas I love Estoril. Unless the light isn't doing it justice... Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top

Why would you pay all that for a bog standard HSE with a fancy body kit? It won't be able to speed away, will sound like a diesel and doesn't even have dynamic response!

What a joke!

Shame those 22"s are illegal without spats and that if those are genuine wheel assemblies with correct tyres, the CS5's will tie the ARC in knots just when you really don't want them to.....

I wouldn't drive it, that's for sure.....

The ad is showing as expired so one of two things has happened - someone has bought it or the seller has decided it was a ridiculous idea and in shame removed it

Eh? Question Question Question

For CS5, read summer compound 295 Contisport 5 tyres which afford a level of lateral grip that the standard ARC (anti roll control) isn't tuned to cope with, so the system will struggle to give a consistent reaction. Those tyres are specific to SVR and shouldn't be fitted to other RRS models

DaveW, is this the same for the 21" tyres? I purchased an unused/ brand new set of SVR 21" wheels and tyres to replace the 22" OEM set on my SDv6 when the time comes. My intention had been originally to take off the tyres to fit a set of Ice/snow tyres to them but haven't yet got round to it. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Bow down Bow down Knowledge is power Cool

It's blatently obvious when you see an SVR in the flesh that it's a completely different car, but to be backed up by something thiss technical by the guy who was part of the build team, really does show that they are a masterpiece and were set about to be the ultimate RRS.

I do hope to own one, one day Very Happy
