Wow, that looks absolutely bonkers. While I will always be against the sidesteps (yeah, I know, some of you are using them), this car must be a head-turner. Regards etc.,

Thanks.
Side steps all the way!! Thumbs Up
Yeah is seams to turn heads everywhere I go. First week I had it the Mrs wouldn't stop taking it on the School run!!! I stopped that pretty sharpish.
I have noticed although it turns heads people are not as friendly on the roads. Don't get let out of junctions, or if I pulled to the side to let someone through a tight gap I don't get a thanks.... Laughing
Never mind well worth the money and is a lovely drive.

And if you remove the sidesteps and replace the wheels with some less easily damaged OEM LR 19" alloys shod with ATRs then you can still take it everywhere that your Defender could go on and off-road ............in a lot more comfort than the Defender could ever muster 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

That's a cracker. Nice one! What's wrong with side steps? I reckon they look weird without them. Perhaps that's because mine has them and I didn't really notice many without until I got it.

What's the mileage?

It has 108'000 mile on the clock. A little high but not a lot over the age of the vehicle.
To be fair I assumed the side steps come with this model?. But like if said I'm no Range Rover expert. Laughing
Only thing I really want to do is sort the front head lights. Seam to be stained or marked and A little dull. Going to get the detailed.... Sanded back and polished but not sure if the staining is on the inside.
Anyone had this problem before?.

You shouldn't need side steps if you use the "Access" setting for the air suspension, they are pretty low in access height 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

My Detailer offers headlight polishing, and whereas I've never had to have any of my Sport's done, the transformation on others I've seen him do is fantastic. The dulling/discolouring is definitely on the outside Thumbs Up 2016 RRS SVR Estoril Blue

Unfortunately for some, the side steps make it much easier to get into these wonderful cars, when suffering from Arthritis and other mobility problems.
They have now been removed from the after fit spares catalogue and genuine ones are no longer fitted by LR dealers.
Beware copies which they say are identical but hold about 10 stone less maximum weight handling. John

You can count me into this group as I bought the RRS especially to have the seat level with my arse (five broken vertebrae and ripped lumbar tendons by two separate racing accidents), using access height on each entry. I fully understand the reasons for the side steps, though I do not use them because of my height, however - putting the health issues aside - I personally think they spoil the looks of the car (and hinder the off-road capabilities as well). It's a personal preference though, and shouldn't be received as a criticism. Regards etc.,

Wojtek
