I'll be straight, two years ago I developed a tumour and the only people around my bedside were very, very good friends and family. My attitude since then has been to care for them and ONLY them. Life, for me anyway, is far too short to be trapped by dogma So when you say that you voted for the sake of others with disregard for yourself, good on you and that's not necessarily wrong, but for me that's just never going to happen.

If you voted remain and still feel that you would like to be in the EU then you can still emigrate to mainland Europe for the next couple of years, or if the wicked witch of the north and her hoard of helpers doesn't scare you too much you could move up here - we could do with a boost to property values! At least you would be with like minded folks - and we could export all the Leave voters down to England where they would be happy with their friends down south ...................
