Personal Imports?

With the pound dropping in value so much does anybody know how much further it has to go before we can go back to the days of the 1970's and 80's when quite large savings could be made by ordering your RHD car from a dealership in Germany, The Netherlands or Belgium? I haven't noticed any fall in LR's interest rates on financing despite the woes on all the money markets either. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Sumatra Black

Hi,

I think the pound to Euro needs to go in the other direction to make it viable to buy cars in Europe.

Damon,

You are correct. In fact with the way currencies are trading at present, the ferries are going to be full of Germans, Dutch and Belgians coming over here to buy "grey" imports!!!! Another plus for BREXIT?????

As above it has just become a lot more expensive to order a car in Europe as the rate is around £1=1.20 euros. Its good to buy when its above 1.40 euros. SVR 2018 in Santorini Black.
