Had a very minor bump the other day when reversing out of a parking bay (one of those nose into the pavement jobs). There was a high sided van parked next to me that blocked my view of any traffic that may have been passing on the road that I had to reverse on to. Reversing very slowly and trying to catch an early glimpse of any traffic I inadvertently bumped a parked car that was parked on opposite side of the road a good four feet out from the pavement and on a single yellow line. A driving instructor with a learner in the driving seat parked directly beneath the no parking between the hours of etc sign. I know the fault lays with myself for pranging him, but wondering if the fact he was parked illegally gets me off the hook with the insurance company....he only had chipped paint size of a 5 pence and a two inch scuff.....a minor scuff on mine 2010 RRS TDV6 3.0 Autobiography - Stornoway Grey
