Although the Sport is in long term storage, i am still maintaining the Service schedule,
however it is up for its 6 year major service in the next few months, which requires also
the belts changing, equals body off. Anyone on here had a 6 year done in Australia
and do you have any estimates of cost.. a friend had his D3 V8 and that cost $3K,
wonder if there is any significant difference on the diesel

I just had my 6 year service with all belts changed etc, at the main dealers (2.7 tdv6) and they didn't take the body off for that. Uk price was £850 so about $1700 Aud

1700 gets a standard service in OZ, if there is no rotors/discs etc, a 6 month oil change is approx $850..
a 6 year service will require the belts changing, so question is, how do they replace all of the belts and
the water pump pulley without lifting the body, i thought one of the belts is at the rear of the engine?? Another Pommie Bar Steward down under

major retraction, apparently its 7 years or 180K plus for the cambelts to be changed.. so the service should be a bit
