Send a sample of your engine oil off to Millers oils for an analysis, to see what the actual fuel dilution is.
I did, and it was the reason I sold my car. (over 8% dilution - a critical figure, despite the dealer refusing to change to oil). Absolutely would never have one of these out of OE warranty, period.
Dealers don't actually physically check the oil dilution like the Milers analysis - they rely on a computer algorithm. Which is about as reliable as all other JLR software IMHO. MY2016 HSE D SDV6 - gone due to fuel dilution problems.
