You don't need anything special other than a garage and patience to replace the front arb bushes. Your local garage should be able to do it without any real issues. |

Unless the bolts are seized into the crossmember, which does happen more frequently than I would like, then it needs some (a lot of) heat...

The frequency that my ARB bushes are changed, I'd be amazed if the bolts had time to seize... 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Having just replaced my ARB bushes along with complete new ARB too there is no way I would have attempted it without the two special tools (Thanks Dan @ Duckworths ) and a 15mm flexi head ratchet spanner

The other thing I've read is there has been an upgrade to the clamps, is it worth changing these as well as the bushes?

Mine was a full anti roll bar replacement so it came with new bushes and clamps but yeah if changing the bushes for first time I would change the clamp too TDV8 now with extra grin factor thanks to Alive Tunning: Gone but not forgotten |

I do have access to a ramp but it's a bit tricky at the moment, so I was wondering if it's possible to change the bushes with it on axle stands?

Yes its possible, If I can change the whole ACE ARB on a pair of axle stands then bushes are definitely doable though it is tight TDV8 now with extra grin factor thanks to Alive Tunning: Gone but not forgotten |
