2006 Range Rover Sport 4.4 V8 SE Zermatt Silver

no sound from phone on bluetooth

I have 2006 RRS and iPhone 5s. They will pair together with no issues but i can't get any sound from in the car and the person can't hear me when using the audio system. if i change back over to the phone for sound it works.
I have read about upgrading the bluetooth module is this what i need to do. Thanks.
