Infotainment screen and drivers seat/door controls inop

Evening all! Went over to inspect new car today prior to collection next weekend. Moved car from compound and all worked fine. Left running while lad got trade plates so e could drive her. Mrs reckoned a message appeared on nav screen, possibly a battery symbol? The unit would not power up and also drivers seat wouldn't adjust or any of the window/mirror controls operated. Stopped car, locked and left for 10 mins, no joy. Checked fuses and all ok. I have experience of or products up to 2007 but left workshop and not dealt with since. Older models used to suffer with battery issue and I noticed ours has a new looking Varta fitted. Ironically got stuck in traffic jam on way home and lad in car behind was one of my colleagues from or dealer. Had a chat and he mentioned a reassurance recall? He'd heard mention of it but didn't really know the details. He wonders if battery was the issue too. The dealer said they had a d4 do exactly the same thing last week. Has anybody had this or heard of it? Garage have assured me they will sort, but I really don't need a gremlin car!

I'm sure it's main battery related. From what I remember they were very sensitive to odd batteries. Makes sense as it has just been interior cleaned, so probably had radio on while doing it. Don't recall the same symptoms of seat inop though.
