DIRECTIONAL CONTROL VALVE

Hello RRS forum. I have just joined from the FFRR club as "luckily enough" my second car is now a Sport ..... with a fault code !! and its intermittent to make matter worse ..... Censored

ARCM C1B03 Fault Type general circuit current above threshold
Description
Directional control valve 1
Supp description
over current for DCV1
detection conditions
DCV current greater than 4.5 amps for 100ms
Symptoms
amber suspension warning lamp
vehicle means when cornering

We, I mean Tom Martin from Auto 4x4 near Mallow, pulled the connectors off of the valve and sprayed WD40 onto he contacts.
Still intermittent. Suggested it might be in the wiring loom, yuck Big Cry

Looking for help to stop this annoying fault over than pulling over to the side of the road, switching off the engine pulling the key out and starting off again behind the Censored lorry that was overtaken two minutes ago.

Pretty sure the DCV can be stripped and cleaned quite easily, might be worth doing as one of the valves might be gummed up causing the solenoid to labour harder than usual.

Thats a plan, thank you for the suggestion.
Do I need to bleed down the system in any particular order?
