Hi All

Just looking for some clarification

I have RRS 4.2 SC 2008 and at very slow speeds or when stop start in traffic etc I get creaking noise from the front that sounds like an old wardrobe.

now I have been told it could be the Hub Bushes and to do one side looking at £400 top so £800 top to do both.

now I am no expert but does the creaking noise sound like the Hub bushes or could it be something else

yeah the guy at the garage said to me the Hub Bushes which is why I am questioning it and the price is just silly

I have the same car, same problem. The creak can get really bad sometimes, and you can hear it clearly when you jack the car up and down. It's definitely the ARB bushes on mine, so booked it in to the local garage. Two days later they gave it back and said they couldn't do it  2006 Java Black HST Supercharged

Went back to garage and the guy went with me to listen to car and now he is sure its the ARB so again another common problem lol.

car booked in next month and will be done with cars service.

Don't need to take the body off to change the front bushes, but you do need to lift the diff out of the way. So a simple gob becomes a royal pain
