United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Orkney Grey

Excellent news that LR agreed to pay for the work,
Mine just started this exact same thing today. I noticed a cloud of blue smoke in the mirrors when accelerating away that seemed to relate to hitting 3000 revs. do you happen to know the TSB reference number?
Also, what's the best way to contact LR about this? -----------------------------------------------

Any advice on how to get this issue dealt with. I spoke to LR customer services and they stated the issue has to be checked by a main dealer to confirm it relates to the TSB - Dealer will charge £132 just to confirm the issue. once confirmed LR might discuss who should pay (I know which way that will go) and dealer recons 4 hours so £600 + the bits to correct it. Shocked so that would be me out of pocket to the tune of about £900. I normally get the car services at Rovertune and suspect repair cost there would be far less but I would have to pay it Big Cry -----------------------------------------------

Go to Rovertune and spend half as much or take the chance on goodwill (good luck with that Laughing )

A puff of smoke keeps the tailgaters at bay Laughing

Is there Any urgency in applying the TSB, occasional puff of smoke is annoying but is the application of the TSB needed to prevent a larger more critical issue? -----------------------------------------------
