Just been given a price from 2 different main dealers for out next service on our 2011 HSE, previous service was a 64k B service

Lookers Chelmsford told me I need a 5 year or 80k service, which includes transmission fluid change £813! Plus £54 for the MOT

Lookers Southend told me I need a 5 year or 75k service, which after asking was told also includes the transmission fluid change for £633! Plus £54 for the MOT, but also said its not a problem getting it done elsewhere

How can the prices be so different???

And has anyone used Lookers Southend before??

It would cost you nearer £1000 at Hatfields, (LR main dealers and service centre and body shop), they must get the vote for most expensive servicing in UK, and it's rural Yorkshire not London where prices are always 25% more.
Their 3 year special price (paid in advance) for the services and MOTs is just under £4000, this was offered as a after sales offer on 2012 RRS.  John
