United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey
[For Sale] 2011 HSE Sport - 37,800 miles 25,000

For sale my 2011 HSE Sport. (Now transferred on to original plates LC11 NNH ) Immaculate (see note) No scratches on bodywork, alloys all good with no chips. All the usual extras TV, fridge, memory seats etc. Dynamic. Tyres very good I believe I have 6mm on back and 5mm on front.
MOT last Nov 2015 with no advisories. 80,000 mile full service including transfer oil only done one week ago. Been on full warranty cover with WD which just been cancelled for Monday 18th as if not sod before garage taking in part exchange for 23K. Comment from garage that they think a member of staff will be taking it. WBAC (We buy any car) offered 22,660) so you can see where I am.

Detachable towbar with twin electrics, two keys etc. LR Rubber mats throughout including boot. New battery 2015.

The deal and money must be completed by the end of the week-end otherwise off to the garage.

Note: Service picked up that the drives door lock closing sensor is faulty (ok for opening) cost to replace
incl labour 170.

Had an oil leak repaired under warranty and a major electrical fault on the passenger side fuse box which JLR changed and did an update mod as known fault so these all good. (Saga on the Forum under stuck in France last July) That really is it - a lovely drive that makes me wonder why I have done everything and now selling. Happy to discuss with buyer.

North Hampshire RRS Forum meet up last Sunday and the guys would have seen it then.

I would happily sell this to my Mother if she could still drive!!

Will go to the dealer first thing Monday 18th if not sold before.

Thank you for looking.

Current Merc GLE 3.5d 2016 model, 2011 RRS HSE standard
Previous 2012 FL2 liked but boot too small
Previous to LR's 3 x Merc E320 estates - fantastic load carriers and long distance cruisers, ultra reliable. Only changed as needed a 4x4 high tow vehicle. Did have a 1955 early LR drop down windscreen and fuel tank under the drivers seat; again very reliable and super rugged.

Nigel, you qualify for the FS&W rules already so you shouldn't need approval?

Martin and the mods will want this in the FS&W section though. GLWTS. Thumbs Up Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK

Ad fine, you might want to add your asking price into the main ad for clarity but otherwise OK Smile Like this site? Buy some RRSPORT goodies to show your support!

Thanks, I know but left it too late to use Autotrader which would have seen lots of tyre kickers or spam enquiries. Current Merc GLE 3.5d 2016 model, 2011 RRS HSE standard

Hi Rob - don't laugh or cry; but a new Merc GLE 350d . I know it wont be as good off-road but it seemed to beckon me in the showroom yesterday. They are fitting tow bar etc as we speak but having to move quickly as we take the early morning ferry a week tomorrow. On road it drove amazingly well and I also took it down a road of really high sleeping policeman near American Golf in Chandlers Ford and the air suspension seemed fine. Running costs much lower and still a load lugger which I need for France. Been interesting running around borrowing 'readies' and loans from various sources.

We will see how long term it goes. Always trade back if it does not turn out as hoped.

regards

How did I miss this post! Shocked

I will also vouch for the honest condition of this car having seen it on a few occasions in person Thumbs Up

Good luck with the sale Nigel and I hope you enjoy the Merc as much as you have the Rangie.

Buck we can always compare at next meet and I will give honest feedback. Going to be an interesting comparison. Obviously not comparing apples with apples off road but overall it will be an interesting comparison. Personally Rob with his old Rangie for off road green laning and a 2nd more practical 4x4 is best compromise. Current Merc GLE 3.5d 2016 model, 2011 RRS HSE standard
