Finally bought a 2012 RRS Overfinch, has everything I wanted except the rear entertainment. I've spoken to Cartronics and they can retro fit the complete factory system but it's going to cost around £5k. I've spoken to a few other companies (RAMmobile in Wakefield etc) and most suggest the Rosen rear entertainment screens. However, after reading reviews these seem to be a little mixed.

Are there any other decent aftermarket options out there? The screens need to be able to play DVDs and tap into the existing digital TV function.

Any help as usual is greatly appreciated.

Rosen is the way to go. Use them in my Range, & Ford Kuga, excellent and match the interior.

I know it doesn't answer the dvd and TV point, but personally, I think the days of fitted rear entertainment systems are numbered.
A mobile wifi box, and iPads's with Bluetooth speakers is the future IMO.

Transportable from car to car, removed from sight when you leave the car parked up and you have them for use when not in the car. Some pretty robust headrest mounts available now too (Brodit for example). ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i
