Hi all, been a while

I'm looking at changing both front and rear belts on my RRS 2.7. I was looking at the DIY section and noticed that there is a write up for the belts, though for a Disco. Does anyone know if, with me having a RRS, there is a big difference in models that would render the write up useless?

I have changed the front hubs with success, drained the coolant system, replaced brake fluid, changed fuel filter, brake pads and discs with ease. Does anyone have any words of encouragement for me? or should I avoid it like Tower Hamlets at night?

Lastly, any tips for cambelt kits, front and rear? I see that AF do a few kits, any more suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I'd like to have all tools and products on my kitchen table by Friday, ready for a weekend of fun. Recently bought a 2007 RRS HSE TDV6 for a Pimp-My-Ride-Project.

RRS is exactly the same, other than those fitted with DR/ARC. The aux belt, tensioner and alternator are mounted differently

Being an 07, I would strongly suggest you consider doing the oil pump at the same time

Yes you can do it. Getting the fan off is the difficult part so prepare or practice that bit.
Hammer required.

I got 3 belts, idle wheels and locking kit off eBay for about £180. Needed to ring them up to get the free locking kit.

Thanks for that Andy. I've seen quite a lot of kits for around that price, seems to be the going rate.

Best I can do is £150, inc postage
Oil pump, if required is £130

This includes the front belt, tensioner and bolt, front belt idler pulleys, and rear belt, tensioner and bolt

Unfortunately, I'm just a small fish in a but pond, and can't quite compete with the big boys (yet )
