Hi Guys,

I have created a unit that fits in the tailgate of a powered tailgate RRS.
Mine is a 2012 and it works fine, not sure what other years it will go back too.
The unit connects four wires. When your tailgate is open, pressing the open tailgate button on the remote or in cabin, closes the tailgate. All connection are inside the tailgate.
I can build and supply a kit with all required parts to fit and instructions too if there is enough interest.
Others I have seen are selling at £80 from the US etc, depending on quantities, I could make some for our RRS for around the £40 - £50.
If you guys are interested, add your name down and when the numbers are looking good, I will start making some.
Happy to show my car working if anyone want to see it in action.

Yep, I have ordered 10 sets to start with, to make sure all is working fine with everyone.
As more names appear, I will start to order more parts etc.

Hi Guys!

Just to let you know, all the bits have arrived now. I will put one kit together nd test it on my car. All being well, I will send it out to LG8340 as he started this all off and let him fit it, prove out my instructions etc.
Then I will assemble the others, testing each one on my car to ensure they work.
If more people want to have this mod, add your names and when the numbers of more people are added, I will order more parts etc.
I will keep you all updated.
