How about an E39 M5? arguably the best M5 BMW made, fast family super saloon with bags of room, character and awesome handling to embarrass most things. Prices are now on the rise and there will be no depreciation if you find a nice clean well looked after car, oh and 5 litres of V8 sound track and a manual 6 sped box 2003 BMW M5 - 5 Litres of V8 Optimax Slurping Goodness in Carbon Black
