iPhone 5/6 lightning connector to LR arm rest mount

Apologies to all if this has been asked a million times elsewhere:

Anyone know of an iPhone 5/6 lightning connector adaptor that plugs into the LR proprietary connection on the underside of the centre arm rest lid? I have one for an iPhone 4 with the adaptor but the connection is a bit flakey & so wondered if anyone out there had found something as LR don't seem to make them for the iPhone 5/6?

Thanks in advance

Question

So, for a complete novice to this ! The adaptor connects to the phone, how does then connect to the car ? Is this a L/R lead ?

Many thanks

The Lightening connector is a tiny spade connector that all the recent Apple mobile devices have to replace the original big connector. I bought a Lightening cable for my Defender from Halfords, they sell own brand cables and Belkin and a few other brands. At least with Halfords, if it doesn't work you can take it back if you kept the receipt Embarassed
There is a big choice at reasonable prices here
http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/...;langId=-1
I bought this on Saturday at Halfords for £12 for the box full even though I don't need all the bits, it was cheaper than buying just the cigarette lighter adapter! I appreciate that you only want a cable that will work, but supplying Apple cables seems to be a license to rob at most shops, including Apple themselves............

Hi guys,
Nearly a year has passed since the last responses I had in this enquiry and that's down to me making do with what I have, that being the factory LR/Jaguar black lead that plugs into the outlet next to the USB outlet under the centre console
Lid.
I'm still looking for a lead that plugs into that same outlet but that has the iPhone lightning plug on the other end so it dispenses with the 30 pin > Lightning apple adaptor.

Other car manufacturers seem to have them available but not LR, had anyone found one and if so please can you give the details?

Happy LR'ing....
