A tenner cheaper here: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/301901105564 Get a 2005-2009 RRS (FAH500210) sat nav/dash mat here - the one that wasn't there when you bought the car.

Just don't go for anything non genuine if you want to do more than charge it is play music. |

So, for a complete novice to this ! The adaptor connects to the phone, how does then connect to the car ? Is this a L/R lead ?

I thought you said you had a lead from your old phone,, is this what you are looking for,,, teamed up with lighting adapter of course.

The Lightening connector is a tiny spade connector that all the recent Apple mobile devices have to replace the original big connector. I bought a Lightening cable for my Defender from Halfords, they sell own brand cables and Belkin and a few other brands. At least with Halfords, if it doesn't work you can take it back if you kept the receipt
