There is no getting away from that turbo-lag, but after I had my car re-programmed by Turbo-Chip there was a real improvement in both performance and cutting down the delay time, although that did mean I couldn’t finish War and Peace when going round the 4,921 roundabouts in Milton Keynes...with the turbo-delay I always had ample reading opportunities.

mine does this too. had a few close shaves pulling onto roundabouts - becomes unpredictable as to your pull-away capabilities... sometimes its great, then other times your heart misses a beat!

I have had this problem to. I also notice my power in general is down. I had the adaptions reset on the car and that helped a lot, however it has happened again

Yep - this has happened to me a couple of times. Sometimes pull away cleanly other times unbearable delay.

I tend to use the sport mode a lot for pull aways and has become 2nd nature - was far more hesitant when first drove the RRS after the 330Ci - it was like my driving style had aged 20 years... |

Just got my sport this week. Am quite happy with the way it pulls away. I had an XC90 before and it was bloody terrible for a delay, nearly got me splatted loads of times

Hi Jim what RRS do you have. There is an off road course open Sun the 19th at Farley quarry on the Buildwas to Much Wenlock road why dont you come and get it dirty. I will be there having fun. P.S my P38 used to be dangerous when pulling away, but the RRS so far seems ok. some of my Previous cars -------------------------------- P38 Range Rover Autobiography RRS 2.7 HSE Silver RRS TDV8 HSE silver FFRR Vogue black Disco3 HSE silver RRS 2.7 HSE silver RRS 3.0 HSE BALTI BLUE ______________________________ current vehicles RRS 3.0 L494 Autobiography Audi R8 V10 Spyder AC Cobra Landrover Defender 90 Landrover Defender 110 Suzuki Jimney |
