Lumpy start from cold, then no accelaration for a minute

Hi All,
Advise please.
I have an 07 RRS 2.7 TDV6. On average about once a week, from cold it get a lumpy start for about 10 seconds, then when i pull away, there is not power at all,i rev it hard in drive for about a minute and then its all good.
when i do pull away hard its still smooth,it just doesnt go anywhere
I have no DTC'S showing either,so im scratching my head a bit.
The only thing i can think of is a blocked fuel filter.
any ideas ,will be gratefully appreciated
cheers Thumbs Up

Rev it hard for a minute when cold? That will do it no favours at all...

It could be an EGR issue, worn injectors or non-functioning glow plugs

I know its not the best thing to do,but it gets me moving.

No sure on injectors as i would guess it would show up on DTC?

Im thinking possible EGR,contemplating whether to have them capped off
cheers

I'd guess at glow plugs. Blanking the EGR is relatively cheap / easy on the 2.7 so it would be worth doing that first. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Thanks RRSTDV8

Ive thought about blanking the plates for a while anyway, will it make much difference to performance etc?

Would the glo plug show on DTC if there was an issue?
