Oman 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Vesuvius Orange

Thanks Bobby, appreciate the comments Thumbs Up

To be honest it's a real labour of love so to speak and every step forward I make opens a new door and further options...

Now with the apps to scale the screen, I've discovered I can hard code the same. The advantage is that this means all Apps play nice Smile with the new resolution. It also means in theory I could do some crazy Censored and install a much larger 10.1 inch tablet but with a pillar box screen so approx a 2:1 aspect ratio in lieu of 16:9 or 16:10... Giving me a 9.5" screen....

However, my self imposed condition is that I can always revert to standard in under 1 hour if I were to sell the car. So my nice shiny piano black console fascias need to be maintained etc.

This makes it all a lot of fun Very Happy to my wife's disdain.... I see a BMW 10.1 CIC display in my future, just not sure how to get the rotary control working...

Cheers

I've asked Martin to start a new thread just for the 8.8 inch build as I think this is more appropriate as this build is de facto dead in the water now.

The new thread can be found here

Cheers
