When I bought my rrs back in June last year, I was sceptical of the warranty aspect as have never had on any of my prior cars. Anyway, after reading here, I decided to get my (non LR) dealer warranty as was underwritten by car care plan who back the LR warranty and the hand book was identical. Got at a bargain price of 1200 for 3 years. Anyway, my car failed its mot because if a rear ARC unit And was told 1600 quid to chAnge. The warranty mob have only gone and coughed up for the lot inc labour.

So thanks to those who keep on about warranties. I would never have purchased if I hadn't read here first. It's now paid for itself with another 2.5 years to go!

Easy to say now, but I would of course recommend anyone to get one if thinking about buying one of these.

I also purchased warrantee provided through car care plan for my RRS when I bought it last year. Similar price and already paid for itself after 6 months when suspension pump needed replacing. They paid all parts and labour with no quibbling. Simple phone call for authorisation, Money transfered same day I emailed the receipt for the work. -----------------------------------------------
